Handpainted merino combed top. Merino is a very soft fiber, with a squishy, chalky (non shiny) texture. It is a very fine fiber, with a small diameter, and an average staple length. Very comfortable next to the skin, Merino is also great for felting. 6 oz supersize gets you one and one half 4 oz braids. A deep and interesting colorway. I applied the dyes in a manner allowing them to speckle a bit, and also with the colors transitioning from dark to light and back again. Overall a neutral colorway, it has added depth and interest with the addition of red and blue. Pics for the rest of the fiber bases coming shortly!
