Handpainted superwash Merino combed top. Merino is a very soft fiber, with a squishy, chalky (non shiny) texture. It is a very fine fiber, with a small diameter, and an average staple length. Very comfortable next to the skin. Superwash Merinois treated so it will not felt.
6 oz supersize gets you one and one half 4 oz braids.
Stock Colorways are dyed to order, and ship within 3-7 days of ordering. Please remember that FatCatKnits fibers are hand dyed (in my kitchen!), and expect some variation between rovings. If you plan on making a larger project, and need more than one roving, I suggest you order all you need at one time. Rovings which are dyed together have the least variation between them. If you see a Stock Colorway you want, but not the fiber base you want it in, please email me atFatCatKnits@gmail.com. Also, if you want a larger amount of a colorway than is offered in the listing, I can definitely accommodate you.
