Handpainted Yarns:Now offering a great variety of handpainted yarns. See menu to your left- click and browse!Stock Colorways (View by Colorway):Handpainted combed top, available in colorways that you can order whenever you want, in whatever amount you want, on whichever fiber base you prefer. If a certain colorway is not offered on the fiber you are interested in, please contact me to request the your colorway,your way.
Semi Solid Stock Colorways (View by Colorway): Handpainted combed top dyed to create a specific overall color when spun. Your finished yarn will "read" a certain color, but have lots of color and value interest. As with regular stock colorways, these are repeatable colorways you can order as needed. I will be adding colorways as I develop them, so please check back frequently. Handpainted Combed Top, Random Colorways: My playground :) The way I apply the dye makes sure they are unique to themselves. Once a colorway is sold out, it is gone forever. My one of a kind or limited edition colorways are offered in braids in the usual 4 oz format. You will also find roving in bags ranging from 8 oz up to 1 1/2 lbs, which I call Project Bags. They will not be braided or twisted, just softly piled in a bag, allowing the fiber to remain nice and poofy. And sometimes you will find roving combos, where I pair up rovings that I think will work well together.Fleece, Noils and Other Fun Add-ins:Click on this link if you are crazy for making your own batts :) Here you will find only the most skin friendly, CLEAN fleece. I choose only coated fleeces so you can be assured of truly MINIMAL vegetable matter. You will also find cool textural add-ins such as noils, angelina and pulled silk fibers.Undyed Fibers: Natural colored fibers and yarns- play with color your own way! I have a limited amount of a variegated Bluefaced Leicester combed top- a swirl of natural ecru and brown fibers. Delish!Patterns: Some of my own FatCatKnits patterns are available, including my recent sock pattern, using the ever popular Old Shale pattern (otherwise known as Feather and Fan).
